Class 7: Eyes to See and Ears to Hear Class 7 When the NT quotes differ from the Hebrew scriptures
Speaker: Stephen Palmer
Part of Texas School of the Prophets (2018) · 1:10:00
The class discusses discrepancies between Old Testament quotations in the New Testament and their original texts, emphasizing the importance of understanding the purpose behind these differences rather than attributing them to misquotation or reliance on the Septuagint. The class explores how these variations can be seen as deliberate expansions or explanations of the original texts.
Passages: Ephesians 4:8, Psalm 68:18, Ephesians 5:14, Isaiah 26:19
